Description :- Dewrox-500 is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic containing Cefuroxime Axetil 500 mg. It belongs to the second-generation cephalosporin group and is indicated in the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms. Dewrox-500 is generally used in infections of the respiratory tract (upper and lower), ENT, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and in certain gynecological and postoperative infections, as advised by the physician. Each film-coated tablet delivers reliable bactericidal action by inhibiting bacterial cell-wall synthesis, helping to relieve symptoms such as fever, pain, inflammation and discharge associated with infection, and assisting in faster clinical recovery when taken in the prescribed dose and duration. Dewrox-500 is packed in Alu-Alu blister packs to protect the tablets from moisture, light and handling damage, thereby maintaining potency and quality throughout its shelf life.
